For Our Grantees

Our partners are the community-facing expression and execution of the Foundation’s mission. We aim to work closely with our grantees, providing the resources to put your assets and skills to work with and for our communities.

We appreciate staying connected to you during the course of your grant and hearing about events, stories and activities associated with your work; we recommend sending information to your Program Officer electronically. The Foundation may reach out to you to source photos, videos and content to spotlight and promote your work via our communications platforms. Lastly, we know things can change and shift during the course of a grant. If there are significant changes in the goals, budget or execution of your grant, please reach out to your Program Officer as soon as you can to discuss next steps.

We collect a majority of our reports through our Grant Portal approximately 13 months after grant approval. If you would like to know more about your deadline or the process for submission, you can refer to your grant agreement, log-in to our Grant Portal or contact us.

If your grant is ending soon and there are funds remaining there may be an option to extend the grant timeframe. Download the extension request here, complete the document, and e-mail it to your Program Officer. Extension requests will be approved via e-mail with a PDF letter stating the extension timeframe and a new report deadline. For a two-week or less extension request, please send an e-mail to your Program Officer with the expected submission date.  Please note this short extension may not change the deadline in our online system.

When there is a deadline, what is the cut-off time?
Generally the deadline is set at 5pm Pacific but we do accept materials after the deadline unless noted otherwise.

We have had a staff change, how do I log in?
When there has been staff turnover involving the primary who has been accessing our online Grant Portal, please contact us.

How do I log-in to the Grant Portal?
The Grant Portal is linked here and there are video tutorials on the login page if you need assistance.

My organization currently has an active grant, can we apply for another grant?
Organizations can apply for grants while having an active grant. If a proposal is invited, staff may request updates on your current grant in addition to the proposal questions.
