Fabiola Greenawalt

Program Officer

Fabiola Greenawalt is a Program Officer at The Russell Family Foundation where she leads and implements strategies that advance Environmental Education and supports continued program development. She has also led strategies and collaborated on special projects such as the Puget Sound Program and Puyallup Watershed Initiative.  Fabiola is a collaborative, mission-focused leader who believes philanthropy is about building and cultivating relationships, establishing innovative networks, and listening proactively to the community being served.  She is a thoughtful contributor who aims to excel in delivering the right tools, resources, and vision to grantee organizations and other partners with the goal to increase capacity and learning and advance organizational mission and goals. Fabiola is a board member of the Environmental Grantmakers Association and Blue Sky Funders Forum; an alumna of the PLACES Fellowship at The Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities; and volunteers on various regional and national advisory committees focused on environmental issues. Fabiola emigrated to the United States from Guatemala and has made the South Puget Sound her home for more than 30 years.
